Three arms of the cross and the fluted bale are pave set with eighty-three diamonds(.20 carat total weight) and are rhodium plated for brightness. A textured serpent loops at the top of the cross with its head dropping down to overlap the middle arm while its tail continues to wrap around the bottom portion of the cross in a very 3-dimensional fashion.
